Columbia Forest Products Launches New and Improved Website
WWW.CFPWOOD.COM offers easy-to-use features for homeowners,
builders, the design community, fabricators and others
Greensboro, NC –Columbia Forest Products has launched a totally-revamped website beginning with a new and improved home page design. Its goal is to enable visitors – homeowners, specifiers, builders, fabricators and others – to find the information they seek within "three clicks or less," according to Director of Marketing Todd Vogelsinger.
• Homeowners can find practical information about formaldehyde and indoor air quality, ways to "green" their homes and how to find a PureBond Fabricator in their area who can build a "green" cabinets and furniture;
• Architects and designers will find product information and resources for specifying PureBond and connect with a Columbia LEED Accredited Professional who can consult with them on green building projects;
• For builders, remodelers and kitchen & bath dealers, the PureBond Fabricator Network directory will help them identify the best qualified fabrication shops in their area, and to learn about what makes PureBond formaldehyde-free technology something their customers would be extremely interested in;
• A comprehensive FAQ section covers a nearly exhaustive list of questions about plywood construction, indoor air quality, regulations and certifications;
• All visitors are invited to sign up for the Wood Works™ newsletter and to ask plywood expert Ang Schramm and finishing expert Jeff Jewett their specific technical questions.
"Because of our scale as the largest hardwood plywood producer in North America, and being the first to embrace a formaldehyde-free technology for making our panels, we found ourselves needing to communicate with an expanded range of people about an expanded range of topics," said Vogelsinger.
"Our new site was designed to organize our content in an intuitive way that lets the visitor drill right into what they came looking for. But our traffic reports indicate that once they're inside www.cfpwood.com, they find a whole lot more that interests them.
"At Columbia, we try to de-mystify the world of hardwood plywood and its role as a sustainable, green building material," said Vogelsinger. "And now, our new website reflects this mission, by being a streamlined resource and answer bank."
