Columbia Forest Products' Trumann, Arkansas Facility Receives ISO 9001:2008 Certification
Columbia Forest Products has announced that their hardwood plywood facility in Trumann, Arkansas received its ISO 9001:2008 certification.
Doug Heath, Plant Manager, Trumann Operations, noted that "our zealous commitment to continuous improvement and a strong quality system, as evidenced by this ISO recognition, will be the force that will drive Columbia-Trumann to the next level of performance and provide enhanced value for our customers to win in the marketplace."
ISO 9001:2008 is an international quality standard that specifies requirements for an organization's quality management system, including the ability to "consistently provide product that meets customer and applicable statutory and regulatory requirements," and "enhance customer satisfaction through the effective application of the [quality management] system."
